Drew is two weeks old today! He is one of the few I have gotten to capture in just their first few days on earth and it was SO amazing. Drew’s mommy is one of my best friends, Beth. We went to church together back in the old days and have remained great friends. Lucky for me because she is one of those people that you don’t meet everyday. She is going to make the most amazing mom to Drew! This little man slept….and slept….and pee’d on me once…then slept some more. I am not sure what’s in his milk but it made for an awesome session. There were so many that I want to share but I was able to narrow it down for you. I can’t wait to see my sweet boy again soon! I LOVE BABIES!!!

Kipton:: 7 months

It has been such a busy summer! Last weekend it was time once again for pictures with Kipton. He is already 7 months old. It’s crazy to think how fast it is flying by. He is such a cutie….maybe because he is related to me. I’m just sayin! Here are a couple from our session.

Riley:: 6 months

Riley is 6 months old and we had a great session a couple of weeks ago. This little blue eyed boy is going to be a litle heart throb! Riley’s parents were one of my wedding clients when I was first starting out so to get to work with them and their new little family is so much fun and such a blessing for me. Ladies…lock your girls up! Here comes Riley and he’ll melt your heart.

Brittany + Billy {Parker, TX Wedding Photographer}

I’m officially blogging in no particular order. Brittany & Billy tied the knot this weekend and I as usual I had a blast. Brittany is the most laid back and kind bride I think I have ever met. They were married at St Elizabeth Ann in Plano followed by reception at my favorite…The Swingin D. In between the ceremony and reception we made a quick stop for milkshakes and a few not so formals at the ice cream bar. It was by far the highlight of the day for me. I love love love the colors, feel, and atmosphere! These are some of my all time faves for formals. I am so proud of Brittany for stepping outside of the box on her wedding day. The reception was a blast too! Mike with SoundMasters was the DJ. He always brings it! I had the pleasure of working with a couple of great videographers from VideosofGoodness who did an outstanding job. I also had some great help this weekend from my awesome friend Laurie and David my rockstar second shooter. I’d say that this was an all around good day!

I only have about….9 weddings that need to be blogged. So I thought we would start with one of my all time favorites. Ok, ok, I say that all the time but I really mean it. How do you top an amazing downtown venue, guest starring Elvis, and a mother son dance to top all others? You don’t. You just enjoy it instead. Lindsey & Corbin were married on May 15 at Marie Gabrielle in Dallas. The venue is insane. They had coordinator to the stars Shari of As You Wish. She is a rock star! Also in attendance the most fun friends and family ever!! Here are just a few of my favorites from their wedding. It’s hard to pick 20 or so favorites out of 1,000 fun pictures!

We’re Married!!!

I’m sure most of you know by now…I’m married!!! May 23 Daron and I were married at the Swingin D Ranch. It was by far the best day of my entire life. Surrounded by our best friends & our family. I could never have imagined how amazing that day would be. Or how difficult planning a wedding was. But the reward in the end was worth every minute. I am so excited to share our photos taken by Kyle Barnes and our video shot by Tim Maddoux ! In the mean time I thought I would throw some honeymoon photos your way. Once wedding photos are ready I will post a link for everyone to visit.

If you haven’t seen our first dance I think it’s worth watching! OUR FIRST DANCE

We spent our honeymoon in Colorado Springs. We went rafting which you can tell we LOVED!

But I don’t think this lady loved it. Good news is we were able to get her safely into the boat and she remained inside the rest of the trip.

Megan + Johnny = Baby Layton

Daron’s best friend Johnny just had his first baby a couple of weeks ago. His name is Layton and he is a doll. Just before the wedding we all headed out for a little maternity session. Here are just a few of my favorites. This weekend it’s baby Layton’s turn. I can’t wait to share.
