You would think that with my blog absence that I have been sitting around eating bon-bons. That actually sounds like a lot of fun but I haven’t had much time. After 9 weeks of weddings and my own wedding I finally have a minute to breath and blog so here goes the mother of all blog posts. Mostly pictures and not much rambling so enjoy!
This is a session I did with miss Grier. She turned 1! Here are a few from our session..
Last week Angela met up with me for her senior session x2. Our first session had a little country influence. Angela shows lambs and she brought along some of her furry friends to join in on the session. It was SO much fun. But I had no idea baby lambs were such a ball of energy. Day two took us to Denton with a little more urban influence. Both sessions were so much fun! Angela has a great personality and makes me love this small town just a little more. Here are just a few that I heart.
Trey met me last week for round two of his senior session. I never would have expected him to be mr photogenic but boy he is. He is so comfortable in front of the camera and he has a few looks that I’m sure melt his mommas heart. I only needed a few “good” ones from the session and once again Trey had a ton of good ones to choose from. It makes my job so difficult sometimes…..but I’m not complaining! Here are just a few from out session.
Shanna & Jeff met me on a ridiculously windy day for their engagement session and these two still managed to look good! Shanna is one of those brides that I just clicked with right off the bat. It’s couples like this that make me love what I’m doing. These two were so much fun to work with and I can’t wait til the big day!
Earlier this week I met Jack for his senior session in Pilot Point. I was pleasantly suprised to see how comfortable he was in from of the camera. There were even time I could have sworn I was looking at a young Justin Timberlake…and it wasn’t because he was showing me his dance moves. I love the small towns out here, there is just so many endless photo ops! Here are just a few of my favorites of JT….I mean Jack.
Saturday I headed down to Highland Park to meet Katy and David for the first time. I couldn’t have anticipated just how beautiful the park would look this time of year. Everything in bloom, the spring flowers were so colorful, and people were enjoying the beautiful weather. This is one of those day I didn’t even realize that I was working because I was having such a great time with new company. These two are tying the knot next month and I can not wait to be there to celebrate this exciting time with them. Here are just a few from their session.
Brooke & Justen were married on the beach in the Dominican. NICE huh!?!? Last month they celebrated with all of their friends and family at their reception. Matt & Katie (from the Swingin D) put together the BEAUTIFUL decor. And all of the usual suspects were in attendance to make this reception a memorable one. This is my all time favorite crowd. By the end of the night my cheeks are sore from smiling and laughing. They know how to have a good time! I even had a guest photographer, JP did a great job catching some behind the scenes shots. It’s not often I let a “wedding guest” take my camera but I can’t say I’d ever turn JP down. He’s too much fun.

My cousin Lindsey got married last month in McKinney. It was my first time to shoot at the Grand Hotel and hopefully not the last. Although next time I will be hoping for a little warmed weather. Lindsey was a beautiful bride!! From her head to her toes and she has GREAT taste….not just in clothes and decor. She married an amazing guy named Josh too. I actually wish I hung out with these two a whole lot more then I get to.I had to share just a few pictures from their wedding.
I’ve decided that there is nothing cuter then babies…. except babies covered in chocolate cake! It’s already here. Isabella is ONE! Where has the year gone???? It’s like passing through a small town. You blink and you’ve missed something. This weekend we headed out for her one year session, which included a very yummy chocolate cake. These have to be some of my favorites. This is a girl after my own heart except that she didn’t mind sharing.
Saturday morning was off to a great start. I headed over to meet Kendall for the first time. This little one is going to give daddy a run for his money. She is such a little doll with the prettiest big eyes and beautiful skin. I had so much fun playing with Kendall. Her cousins even joined us for a couple of pictures. These two were pro’s, I love when kids are so comfortable in front of the camera. I have a feeling that we can thank mom for that one. Here are just a few of my favorites. The ones with daddy melt my heart a little bit. Such a proud daddy he is!
